Editor's review
This software can harvest email addresses from different kinds of files.
This software tool will automatically collect email addresses from any files. These could of any of .txt, .doc, .docx, .eml, .html, csv, .xls , .xlsx formatted files. This can save you a lot of time in picking out email addresses manually from each such files. This is usually the first step in creating an address list to which direct mailing campaigns could be made. You will then have to qualify each of the addresses before you can even start sending mail messages. The process is simple, you copy a page of information from the source file into the interface and simply click collect. Thus when surfing the net, if you are able to find a page that has email addresses, you could copy the content and then let this tool harvest addresses easily. When collection is complete, you can save the list as a named resource list in the disk. You are able to add addresses to the resource file by appending additional addresses from later sessions.
The interface has a large area for pasting of the target page from a file. On the right of the area you get a list of the harvested addresses. Then you have the operating buttons and a small message area in case there are problems. It is a nice and simple tool which will let you collect email addresses easily. On my wishful thinking list, it will be nice if one could let the tool work on its own through web pages and collect addresses. That would be much like in the fashion of a search engine spider! However, on the flip side, the sites contain generalized addresses like info@somethingortheother.com. These are not of much value as direct mailing prospects. That is a different issue though and if you had useful material from which email addresses could be harvested, this is a nice tool for it.
